Richard Rawlings Net Worth

Richard Rawlings is an American auto mechanic, business owner and race car driver with an estimated net worth of $15 million. He was born in 1969 in Fort Worth, Texas. Throughout his childhood, he was close to his dad. They would spend their father/son bonding time at auto shows checking out the cars. Since they did this so often, he learned about the art of auto mechanics, cars and racing at a very young age. He was very interested in the craft, and he knew from a young age that being involved in things that had to do with cars and racing was what he wanted to do with his life. In fact, he was so sure of it, he saved all his money from odd jobs and working around the house so that he could purchase his first vehicle when he was only 14. He wasn’t old enough to drive it yet, but he wanted to work on it.

For a time, however, he did not get into the world of auto racing or mechanics. He graduated from high school and then he decided he needed to do something worthwhile with his life. He attended the police academy and became a law enforcement officer. When he tired of that, he went to paramedic school and became a paramedic. Following that career, he made the decision to attend fire college and become a firefighter. However, none of those things seemed to stick, and he was always looking for something else to do in his life. That’s when he decided to start his own company. He called it Lincoln Press, and it was an advertising and print agency. It was moderately successful, and that’s when he decided to use the income he made from his company to open yet another business.

Gas Monkey Garage is located in Dallas. Richard Rawlings opened it in 2002, looking to work on cars, restore old automobiles and allow himself a chance to do what he really loved; work on cars. He had no idea that he would become so successful that he’d eventually open up a second location at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in 2014. He would also like to open another one, and he’s working on that right now. He also did not have a clue he’d end up starring in his own reality television show called Fast N’ Loud, but he did.

Since then, he’s been featured in commercials for Dodge, promoting using the Dodge finance company to buy your new car. His personal life is not one he discusses all that often. We know he was married when he was young, but he divorced before he even made it halfway through his 20s. we also know that he married his second wife in 1999. Her name is Suzanne, and they married in Las Vegas. They were divorced a decade later, and then they remarried for a second time in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 2015 after deciding they wanted to be together again.
